It Takes A Village

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for worthwhile projects.  As a successful Kickstarter alumni, I’ve made a vow to support my friends and colleagues in their fundraising efforts.  So when a dear friend of mine alerted me to the plight of an Indian village in the Himalaya’s need for light and power to 40 homes serving 200 people, I sprung into action making a small donation.  Would you consider doing the same?  Visit: Himalayan Mountain Village.  Join the crowdfunding revolution and learn what “it takes a village” truly means. 



I picked up a goody bag at Zynga’s content marketing summit in San Francisco and threw out everything except an old-fashioned CD. I finally watched The Naked Brand on my laptop and boy am I glad I did. It’s an inspirational story about how corporations can help save the planet one small step at a time. Social media has basically taken the reins from the advertising industry and placed it in the hands of consumers. The end result is that corporations are now more than ever, accountable for their actions.
